The JAG Committee is supported by two Working Groups (for Training and Units). The Chair of each of these Working Groups also sits on, and reports to, the JAG Committee. The members of the Working Groups are drawn from a wide range of professionals across the UK endoscopy community, most of whom do not sit on the main JAG Committee.

The Working Groups meet quarterly, with business in between meetings conducted by email. They receive administrative support from the JAG Office.

A QA Working Group for Individuals had been in existence from July 2009 until May 2011.  On 26 May 2011 the JAG Committee decided that the remit and work of JAG QA Working Group for Individuals should be subsumed by the JAG QA Working Groups for Training and Units.   The work of this group can be seen in the QA of Individuals section and the Agendas/Minutes section of the website.
