Training opportunities with JAG accreditation

We currently offer training courses, designed for services that are new to JAG or those working towards an assessment. Our courses are free to attend for all JAG registered services and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. We encourage you to join the training as a team and get everyone involved!

Introduction to JAG

The JAG office are hosting ONLINE sessions this year aimed at services at the beginning of the accreditation journey, and new members of staff who want to learn more about JAG.

We will be joined by guest speakers from the NED and JETS programme, as well as an accredited service to share their experience of the accreditation pathway.

Our sessions will focus on:

  • The accreditation pathway: from self-assessment to annual review
  • An overview of our resources and guidance
  • A glance at the JAG website and how to upload evidence
  • Q&A session – bring along any questions you have!

Choose the session that suits you best from the following dates:

We look forward to seeing you online.

Clinical Leadership Training Session

JAG is hosting a one-hour session, led by the JAG improvement lead, Dr Edmond Sung, to support endoscopy clinical leads. This session will reinforce the guidance outlined in the clinical leadership document released in summer 2025.

We recommend reviewing the document beforehand to maximise the benefit of the session, which will provide valuable insights into the responsibilities and expectations of a clinical lead.

Our session will focus on:

  • Core Responsibilities of the Clinical Lead: Outlining your responsibilities in leading a safe and high-quality endoscopy service
  • Achieving and Maintaining JAG Accreditation: How to achieve accreditation and ensure your service keeps it every year.
  • Endoscopy Training: How your role as clinical lead should link to endoscopy training.
  • Q&A Session: We will wrap up with a dedicated Q&A.

Sign up for the session on Thursday 29 January 2026: 10:00 - 11:00

We look forward to seeing you online.
