Following new research by the University of Leeds, which showed variation in post-colonoscopy colorectal cancer rates (PCCRC) in English endoscopy services, individual provider level rates have now been published.

This is a key measure of endoscopy performance and the results will require detailed analysis to learn lessons and support quality improvement.​

Services are encouraged to download their data and to review and reflect on this in their endoscopy user group meetings. JAG understands that services are under a lot of pressure due to COVID19 and it may be some months before services are able to do this.
