We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Mark Jarvis as the new chair of JAG accreditation.

Mark trained at Oxford University and Imperial College London. During this time, Mark gained the Rudolph Kohnstamm prize for clinical medicine before qualifying in 1999. Based primarily in England, Mark has also worked in Glasgow and New Zealand. Mark has a passion for clinical quality in endoscopy which he has brought to his current post as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Basildon, Essex.

Mark has worked with JAG for a considerable time, becoming a JAG assessor in 2019 and chair of JAG accreditation in 2022. We look forward to his input as JAG continues to adapt to changes within endoscopic practices, particularly in the wake of COVID.
